My name is Rae Macek. Growing up I had a focus in traditional art and design, mainly drawing and painting. As I grew older, I wanted to explore different mediums. That is when I became exposed to the web.
The idea of interactivity sparked my interest and here I started experimenting with combining traditional art and design solutions and interactivity to my web-based work. I decided to move to Southern California where I decided to pursue a career in this field.
When it comes to the web, I love creating functional user interfaces, working with XHTML/CSS, and making things dynamic with PHP and MySQL. I am also fond of video production, motion graphics, and print.
My love for the arts can be seen in my design - simple, clean, and creative.
